Maintenance and storage of hydraulic breaker directly determines the service life and durability of the breaker. For a short period of time water droplets will wash over the breaker to keep it clean, but rust will soon form.

Short-term storage in humid environment or temporary stop working

1, short-term storage (half a month or so), the breaker must be placed in a dry and ventilated place, but the rainy season is also indoor vapor, must be covered with plastic sheeting or waterproof oil safety, to prevent the impact of moisture.

2、If it is only a temporary stoppage, do not put the breaker flat, otherwise it will lead to deformation or damage of the oil seal, meanwhile cover it with plastic sheet to avoid water ingress.

Q：How to place correctly？

A：The breaker should be vertical, and put the rod against the ground, keep the piston inside the mid-cylinder, so as to avoid the high humidity in the air, which will cause rust and corrosion.

Wet environment breaker long-term stop working

1、Block the hydraulic oil port to prevent the entry of water vapor and spoils.

2. Remove the brazing rod.

3、Lay the breaker on the flat ground in a dry environment, place the sleeper at the back of the breaker body higher than the front, keep ventilation and pay attention to dryness.

4、Drain the nitrogen and push the piston into the cylinder.

5、The piston front end, rod, inner jacket coated with grease or anti-rust oil.

6、Cover the whole breaker with raincloth or place it indoor to avoid high humidity in the air during rainy season.

7、If you can not do all the above, you should turn on the breaker for 5 minutes every week and grease the bottom of the piston to prevent moisture and dust pollution.
